I just realized that we have been in Tagaytay almost every week. Prenup two weeks ago, wedding last week and prenup again this week. It seems that for the nearest out of town venue for a prenup, this place south of Metro Manila is the destination of choice. One thing good about this day is that it is rain-free. At first, I was alarmed since in Sta. Rosa it suddenly rained and drenched the entire place. Of course, we have nothing against rain and it did not deter us before in shooting a prenup but from time to time we want to see magnificent blue skies and a spectacular sunset.
It seems that our guardian angel is smiling at us and allowed us to shoot in an awesome weather. Definitely, it will help if you have an “angel” namesake as your groom .

I am giving you a preview of the way we set up our prenups. We use of camera flash to light our subject. This is one best thing that a phographer can use and you will be amazed on what it can do to your subjects. It is like carrying the sun in your palm. Yes, it might be a hassle and you need an extra hand but couples are speechless on the effect. In this particular case, I use the SB-800 as the remote commander and another SB-800 hoisted on a monopod in manual mode.

Occasionally, there are things you need to show aside from the couple and the message still gets through.

We measured the sky about two f-stops below the normal exposure to let the clouds pop. Ain’t bad, right.

Imagine, what we will do to just get an extraordinary photograph. We don’t mind being trampled.

Nope, we are not in Batanes but if you are interested you can email me to know where this place is in Tagaytay. Notice the three trees as background. It’s like the couple is in a vast wilderness.

A spectacular sunset, finally…..

What a way to cap the day…. I am sure Angel is very happy

It is true that God blessed us with wonderful weather that day. And after what happened during the prenups and seeing its output, it is easy to say that is also true that we are blessed with an EXCELLENT photographer.

It was a wonderful experience working with you guys. We are even more confident now in recommending you to our friends.
We can’t wait on what you will do in our wedding.
