THE TRAVELLING ARTBOOK

Just recently, a prospective client (who eventually booked), Bryan and Anna, told me that on their way to Davao they saw a couple with ArtBook in tow. I was initially surprised with that statement since none of my recent clients were from Davao. Disturbingly, I don’t want to entertain the thought that somebody has copied by ArtBook. I instead suspect that perhaps some of my December or January clients chose Davao as their honeymoon destination. True enough… the ArtBook reached Pearl Farm courtesy of Dyoks and Selle.

Here is their email.

hi, fol.

i was just reminded of your davao client story and found these in my hard drive. :-)

ArtBook in davao international airport baggage claim area. (ewan ko ba pero giniginaw ako dun & selle thought it would be cute sa picture kung naka-shawl ako. hehehehe)

ArtBook just outside davao international airport (awaiting shuttle to marina)

ArtBook in pearl farm marina (just about to proceed sa boat)

ArtBook in pearl farm dock… then proceeding to samal house

ArtBook in pearl farm dock… pauwi na

ArtBook in davao international airport checkin area…. then papasok na airplane

kaso, we think, sa centennial airport nakita ng client mo yung artbook. kasi parang may napansin nga kami ni selle na natingin sa artbook habang nakapila kami…. kaya lalo tuloy namin ni-display. :-)

la lang. just sharing….. :-)

Now I am thinking, where was the ArtBook during the honeymoon????

I am sure some of these ArtBooks have already reached other destinations. Email me at bigpicture@pacific.net.ph with your recent pictures with your ArtBook. It will be nice to touchbase again with longtime clients…. I guess friends is the more appropriate term.

  1. [...] Mar 1st, 2007 by selleanddyoks it’s been a well over a month since our wedding and in this span of time, we have realized one thing: that married life is much better than we thought it would be.  :-)   what could be better than being at home with the one you love and planning about how to make your lives a bit better each passing day?  it’s just irreplaceable.    we’re somewhat changing the format of our blog starting this issue.  we realized that we’re so fond of pictures that we’ll be incorporating more of it than words.  not that we’re tired of telling stories (ako pa?!  ) but it’s much easier to maintain a “blog” this way.  (note that I used open/closed parenthesis on the word blog since this is not really a true blog.  ).  plus, ever since we started incorporating pictures in our past blogs, people have been wanting for more.  i guess tinatamad mag-imagine mga tao at gus2 na lang makakita ng pictures.    near then far   after our wedding, we planned to spend the night still in tagaytay.  davao kasi ang honeymoon namin, eh parang kapagod naman kung magmamadali kami after wedding tapos diretso airport tapos gabi na din darating ng davao.  kaya we thought it would be best that we stayed muna in tagaytay.    if you remember in one of our early blogs, we mentioned this new bed & breakfast place in tagaytay.  the boutique ang pangalan ng place.  iIt was a little too small for wedding preps kaya d kami dun nag-stay prior to wedding pero the place does look nice.  actually, parang mas perfect nga for newlyweds (and not soon-to-weds… you’ll understand if you happen to visit the place.  ).  kaya dun kami nag-stay over the night.  nice place… we’d come back when we have an opportunity.    then we spent our honeymoon in pearl farm, davao.  fantastic place.  gotta love the philippines.        mid-evening breakfast in bed.  ayos ba?      morning after our wedding.  preparing to leave na.  notice the samsung lcd tv?  we watched our videos (all 4 of them) repeatedly during our stay.    just lounging around.     tambay sa counter… kasi yung ticket namin pa-davao eh nadala pala sa laguna.  hahaha.  for a while there akala namin kelangan namin mag-speedy balik pa-laguna then speedy papuntang airport (maaga flight namin, eh).  buti na lang at e-ticket yun sa amin at pede naman pala sa airport na lang kuha uli ticket.  ah, yes, the advantages of internet.  whew.    waiting area sa airport… then sa loob na mismo ng eroplano pa-davao.  both times we were looking at our prenup artbook.  little did we know (actually may napansin nga kami nakikisilip sa artbook namin.  ) that fol (our photographer) will get a client sa pagtitingin namin ng artbook sa airport.  click here for more about this story.   nasa davao na.   40-minute boat ride pa-pearl farm.   watermelon juice, anyone?     selle around pearl farm.  ain’t she the prettiest?     1) along the trail  2) along the beach  2) along another beach  candle lit dinner by the beach… na naging candle lit dinner inside samal house.  kasi naman biglang umulan.    want fish?  nasa lilim sa kabilang island. 1st stop ng aming impromptu davao city tour. luz kinilaw…  yummy!    we paid much money and all we got is a cupcake, juice and corn bits?  ayos.   hehe.
